Dr Harsha Gunawardhana

Joined our practice in 2012. Qualified MBBS in 1998 and has extensive hospital and general practice experience in Sri Lanka prior to his arrival in Australia.

Dr Aruna Wijayaratne

Joined our practice in 2012. Qualified MD 1991 in USSR and has a certificate in Family Medicine 1993. He has GP experience since 1998 with a special interest in skin cancer management.

Dr Nirmala Godavitharana

Joined in 2013. She qualified MBBS in 2002 and has extensive general practice experience in Sri Lanka. She is a fellow of the RACGP. Also holds a  certificate in competency in Anaesthesiology from Sri Lanka and has a certificate in Skin Cancer from University of Queensland before settling in Darwin. 


She loves playing tennis and netball whenever she gets opportunity. Also loves singing and dancing, and is a fan of Latin American dancing too. 

Dr Hafis Tijani

Joined our practice in 2014. He qualified MBBS 2009 in Nigeria and has worked in hospitals in Nigeria and at Royal Darwin Hospital. He also holds a masters in Health Management from the Queensland University of Technology and a Diploma in Child Health.

Dr Tijani has called Darwin home for the past 5 years and enjoys playing soccer, watching movies and is involved in community activities.

Dr Nelumka Dayaratne

Born and raised in Darwin, Dr Dayaratne qualified BSC (Monash), MBBCh, BAO from University College Dublin, and diploma in Paediatrics (NSW). She is a Fellow of RACGP with 7 years GP experience in Melbourne prior to her return to Darwin three years ago. She also consults at Nakara Medical Clinic and Dwyer Medical Clinic.

Dr Dhanesha Edirisinghe Arachchilage

Joined us in 2017. He qualified MBBS in 2003 and has worked full time since 2006. He has experience as a Medical Officer in Intensive Care and in Emergency. He also has experience with Surgery, Paediatrics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics.

Dr Dhanesha is a big sports fan, particularly of rugby and soccer.
 

Dr Sameer Mahajan

 Dr Mahajan has been working in Australia for about 10 years. He has  undergone training in Internal Medicine in Australia and has worked in  different sub-specialties of Medicine. He has special interest in Chronic diseases, Cardiology, Diabetes, Respiratory, Acute medical conditions and procedural interventions.
 

He has attained a Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and  Certificate of Dermatoscopy from the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. He  is undergoing further courses and is training to attain Fellowship with Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
 

He enjoys all aspects of General Practice and aims to individualize best available evidence to the needs of a patient.
