What is your zero tolerance policy?

Palmerston Medical Clinic has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for threatening or abusive behaviour towards doctors, staff, and other patients at the clinic under any circumstances. Such behaviour includes: 


  • swearing and shouting inappropriately
  • physical aggression or the threat of
  • verbal threats and harassment 
  • inappropriate gestures
  • discriminatory remarks
  • property damage
  • refusing to leave the property


Anyone engaging is this type of conduct may be asked to leave, the police may be called or the individual(s) may face dismissal from our practice.

Prescriptions

Telehealth consults and prescriptions:
If you've had a phone consult and were written a prescription it can be sent to your smart phone via an e-Script message. 


If you don't have a smart phone or your prescription is for an S8 drug you will need to collect the prescription in person from reception with photo ID. 


We will no longer be faxing, posting, or emailing prescriptions.
